Last week we unveiled our beautiful Winter Garden with it’s huge, teal umbrella bedecked with lights and heaters and with sheepskin rugs on all the chairs and snuggly blankets scattered around. Those of you with environmental concerns might be assuaged by the fact that we have calculated the total output of the heaters and have planted trees in a local school to offset the carbon foot print. You can sit outside, toasty, warm and guilt free.
It is a genuine peaceful oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of South Kensington – no crowds, traffic or pollution, just a lovely hidden spot, surrounded by bamboo and fairy lights to enjoy our delicious food and drink.
Perfect for a morning coffee with toast or porridge or one of our amazing sausage rolls to set you up for the day or even a morning meeting or coffee morning, we welcome laptops, dogs and buggies with exactly the same warmth and hospitality. We have a fantastic lunch menu with daily specials, amazing sandwiches and delicious hot soup, pork pies and sausage rolls. Perhaps you have visited the Natural History Museum or The V & A? Brompton Food Market is just a 2 minute walk from both and 30 seconds from the tube station. We think that we have the best food in South Kensington, at the fairest price in the most beautiful setting.
We also have a resident Robin Redbreast called Patrick who, this being South Ken enjoys Parma ham and mozzarella sandwiches.
